My wife, Lindsey, and I worked with Stephanie Cowan on the Jonville Team. We absolutely cannot recommend Stephanie enough! In arguably the most competitive market ever, Stephanie was the only positive part of the entire home buying process. She was patient, compassionate, and clear in her communication throughout. While we didn't always embody the same behaviors and became emotional at times, she was always there acting as a calming presence in spite of the turbulence.  San Elijo Hills was our dream neighborhood. It was literally only because of Stephanie that we managed to achieve the goal of getting into the neighborhood. Stephanie is excellent! She helped us both buy and sell our home in an extremely hot market with success on both sides. We received significantly over what anyone in our area has received on the sale and were very happy with her guidance throughout the process. What I like most about Stephanie is her patience. We had a ton of questions and she showed us a lot of houses before we were ready to make an offer. We never felt pressured and always felt like she had our best interests in mind. Once we got to the offer stage, she provided excellent advice on current market conditions and how to write a competitive offer. That coupled with her deep network of referrals (lender, landscaping, etc.) make Stephanie an excellent asset. I don’t even know where to start! We met Stephanie almost 4 years ago at an open house in San Elijo. She helped us get our very first place in San Marcos. We have been always in contact through the years. Once we decided to move into a bigger place as our family was expanding, She was the first person we called for help! Had a great experience working with Stephanie. We were first-time home buyers and were a little nervous and a lot picky. Stephanie patiently took us home after home and didn't complain or pressure us to buy anything. She ultimately brought us our home through a business connection before it went on the market. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have been able to get it (the market was pretty hot, inventory was low). Stephanie also was a good asset during the closing process. She walked us through all the paperwork, helped us get the inspection, and sort through what was important. She even offered to have her husband come take a look at things on the house after the fact. Overall great experience, would definitely use Stephanie's services again.

Top-notch real estate broker. We worked with Stephanie on the sale of our property in San Elijo Hills. She is by far the best broker we dealt with (and we dealt with quite a few for our prior real estate transactions!). She understands the market and the latest trends, is not afraid to push the limits when needs to, and is fully committed to the client. She went above and beyond your average broker to help with even the smallest details (e.g. wait for the window replacement guy while we were out of town so the whole process can move along as quickly as possible). I wholeheartedly recommend her services.

We recently decided it was time to buy an investment property and worked with Stephanie first, for the purchase, and secondly to find tenants and arrange the lease. Both tasks were completed quickly and efficiently and she kept us informed of progress at all times. The speed with which she answered questions and got us the information we needed was amazing. We found Stephanie to be so easy to work with, always honest, and always available. We would want to work with Stephanie again the next time we are selling or buying property!
