A popular spot to surf, Cardiff State Beach has a campground and wide sandy beach for you to lay out towels and set up umbrellas for all-day fun. Near Cardiff State Beach, you’ll also find the infamous Cardiff Kook statue. The Moonlight State Beach is perfect for all ages, as there’s a snack bar, sports courts, and a playground, not to mention the wide beach and shallow waters. Take a break from the beach and head further inland to the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve and Nature Center, with miles of hiking trails and several exhibits to admire.
After a long day of work, meet up with friends at the Solterra Winery & Kitchen, the perfect place for unwinding and enjoying good company. You’ll taste-test house wines and snack on Mediterranean eats. Visit the Leucadia Farmers Market to get all your fresh produce and unique home goods.
