Stephanie Cowan is a seasoned real estate professional with a deep-rooted connection to North County San Diego, having made it her home since 2002 (after marrying a local). She is originally from Vancouver Island, Canada and brings her friendliness to her life down south. With over 15 years of experience as a Realtor, Stephanie has established herself as a trusted advisor in the local real estate market and now is leading her team of two other agents who truly care about their clients. She has a background in media and television producing and this shows through her visual story-telling in real estate marketing. 

Driven by the thrill of helping clients achieve their moving goals, Stephanie finds immense satisfaction in guiding individuals to win their dream homes or smoothly sell properties for top dollar. Her commitment to personalized service and outside-the-box problem-solving sets her apart in the industry. Passionate about the outdoor California lifestyle, Stephanie cherishes the beaches, trails, sunny patios, and ocean views that define the area. She also enjoys BBQs with friends and enjoys the abundant Mexican cuisine, including spicy, skinny margaritas.

She has also received the SDAR Gold Award of Excellence for several years, a Compass award of excellence at the 2026 NCSDAR R.E.A.L awards, ranked in the top 1.6 percent of agents nationally by Real Trends and top 1 percent of San Diego Realtors in 2025. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Stephanie is a proud mother to her daughter, Keira, who is pursuing her education at CU Boulder, and her son, Sawyer, who is studying Biology at UC Santa Barbara. Her husband, John, is a former Pro-Mountain Biker turned Aerospace Engineer. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys traveling, boating, photography, reading, movies, tennis, snowboarding, hiking with her Labradoodle, Holly, and practicing yoga. Her favorite charitable organizations are Feeding San Diego, Voices For Children, World Vision, and she supports local schools.

Michelle Byrne is an experienced Real Estate Agent who has quickly become an integral part of the Stephanie Cowan Team. With over 15 years on the lending side of Real Estate, she brings a wide array of knowledge to the table.  Michelle has a true sense of compassion, and patience with her clients knowing that not only is buying or selling a home a big financial decision, but it is also a very emotional one.   She loves to help her buyers find the perfect home for them. Michelle has a BA in Public Administration from San Diego State University and is a San Diego native. 

Born and raised in coastal Carlsbad, she is a natural guide to North County living. She specializes in individual attention and outstanding knowledge of the sales process. She is ready to jump on it whether you are a buyer or seller!
